Emilio Jakue started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, GAIS's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Baumer came free, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Edvard Björling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GAIS's zone, Florentino Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Cipinski came out of the goal and Florentino Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. Zuberbühler FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Filip Bäckman scored to the left of an out of position Napoleon Dziedelonis, making the score, 1-1. Florentino Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Wlodzimierz Cipinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Cipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Edvard Björling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes GAIS got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Gonçalves. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 38th minute of play. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Bäckman in the 41st minute of play. Filip Bäckman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, GAIS's Konrad Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Dziedelonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of GAIS booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Saul Baumer made the kick off in the second half. If Iwan Sebzda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Konrad Josefsson had to leave the field with a concussion. 54 minutes into the game, Saul Lamberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuberbühler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GAIS the free kick. Saul Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberbühler FC's zone, Emilio Jakue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Dziedelonis came out of the goal and Emilio Jakue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Zuberbühler FC's Wlodzimierz Cipinski threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Baumer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Berart to maneuver through the defense. GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Baumer in the 78th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Cipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Iwan Sebzda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Iruinea in the 85th minute of play forced GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Jonathan Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Filip Bäckman charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filip Bäckman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Saul Lamberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wlodzimierz Cipinski. Saul Lamberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Baumer in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Zuberbühler FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GAIS.
