Nizam Şafak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Bozkurt's Nizam Şafak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 7th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cyprien Combaz in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bozkurt's Ceyhan Peykan. In the 16th minute of the match Bozkurt got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Philippe Albert ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vitaliy Vischak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kai Havertz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Răzvan Necula took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nizam Şafak. Nizam Şafak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vitaliy Vischak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Sufi in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nizam Şafak. Nizam Şafak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
