The audience thought a goal was coming when Lenílson Toledo got free with Romulo Gelacio in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Power Guido FC's Enéas Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Zalon in the 26th minute of play. Enéas Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Zalon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enéas Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The Power Guido FC's Aílton Rezende was substituted for Alonzo Carrillos. In the 84thth minute of the game Oséias Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruquense FC's Romulo Gelacio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. The Power Guido FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ruquense FC for much of the match.
