With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carol Stinga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Serban in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviu Latarețu got free with Carol Stinga in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iacob Povară came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Alex Serban. But to his dismay, Alex Serban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.
