Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Farr in the 3rd minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Yaman Akar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yaman Akar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastián Torrico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaman Akar in the 22nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yaman Akar in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Sebastián Torrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Torrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sebastián Torrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Max Farr took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. GreenUnited made a substitution. Max Stevens replaced Yaman Akar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Max Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastián Torrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 白星奕 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, 白星奕 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joao Zuazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Joao Zuazo in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 96th minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Torrico having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
