Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Emiliano Quintero made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Quintero came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. If Bela Herrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 10th minute of the match. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Carceles kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Badia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bela Herrero in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bela Herrero in the 17th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorio Carceles was slow to take the kick. During this time PERSPOLIS's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Emiliano Quintero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Yiyo Esperta got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Honorio Carceles hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Antal Valentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Badia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bela Herrero in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boros Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match, Balazs Lajos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgar Badia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edgar Badia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Major Barna could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Edgar Badia however easily saved by the left post. PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix was substituted for Emiliano Quintero. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by PERSPOLIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Badia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Hungary booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shabeb Al Dowaisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekialde Nadal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Badia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Vörös Henrik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgar Badia quite easily take care of the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Shabeb Al Dowaisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PERSPOLIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 75th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shabeb Al Dowaisan to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes, Honorio Carceles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PERSPOLIS and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Honorio Carceles hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Ganix came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Ekialde Nadal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Edgar Badia in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yiyo Esperta fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PERSPOLIS's protests and gave Yiyo Esperta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Yiyo Esperta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edgar Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
