When Damiano Santagata, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gabriel Ascaso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 25th minute of play. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Nando Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Eşeği Saldım Çayıra booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Rabellino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that David Aranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nando Muslera was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damiano Santagata to make the kick off. In the 55th minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Nando Muslera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nando Muslera came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Carles Cherro. But to his dismay, Carles Cherro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Carles Cherro scored to the left of an out of position Nando Muslera, making the score, 0-2. Mario Zapata hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nando Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carles Cherro in the 96th minute of play. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carles Cherro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Eşeği Saldım Çayıra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
