After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habib Ali Picavea got free with Rômulo Souto in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toninho Caca-Rato kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Rômulo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Ali Picavea in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MUSHIBA FC's zone, Marcos Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Souto came out of the goal and Marcos Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Luz came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Toninho Caca-Rato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morro Grande E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUSHIBA FC the free kick. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Toninho Caca-Rato hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Kaká Sampaio put in a rough tackle. Gláuber Brodel had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Luciano Baptista's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Habib Ali Picavea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Habib Ali Picavea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rômulo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Brodel made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tiaguinho Luz sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morro Grande E.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan de Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time MUSHIBA FC's players had a chance to rest. MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gláuber Brodel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute Habib Ali Picavea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gláuber Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Tiaguinho Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gláuber Brodel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiaguinho Luz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. Régis Mineiro replaced Raí Nogueira. Tiaguinho Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Toninho Matos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez was substituted for Tiaguinho Luz. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Toninho Matos hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Anselmo Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute of the match, Severino Marquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gláuber Brodel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gláuber Brodel. That made the score 0-2 after 93 minutes of play.

The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MUSHIBA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
