In the 3rd minute Aleksander Klewinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Cezary Jajecznica sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Cezary Jajecznica tried to sneak it across the goal line. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Mateo Phelipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Nakonieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pankracy Nakonieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. After 26 played minutes MIRA -ŁÓDZ got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Jajecznica. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Mateo Phelipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Phelipe. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Phelipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Phelipe having to interfere. In the 41st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Phelipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Cezary Jajecznica reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Nakonieczny in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Cezary Jajecznica notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Mateo Phelipe however easily saved by the left post. After 72 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Mateo Phelipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mateo Phelipe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lars Meesters struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Mateo Phelipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Mateo Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mateo Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 82nd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mateo Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Demario during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, MIRA -ŁÓDZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Demario to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mateo Phelipe could save by the left post. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but MIRA -ŁÓDZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
