Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Iwo Sawicki notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 9th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Walter Baß got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 17th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Speed didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Raniolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Concetto Raniolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. In the 31st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Christo Bothenhain's shot from long distance in the 32nd minute was not bad at all, but Germany's Tommy Kahn knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Concetto Raniolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 37th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Concetto Raniolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Pentti Ojala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Iwo Sawicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Concetto Raniolo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pentti Ojala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwo Sawicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. With a little luck, Tiger's Concetto Raniolo got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Hanns Weber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Hanns Weber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiger made a substitution. Ingo Ustorf replaced Gunther Gräßer. In the 72nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Tiger made a substitution. Fatih Schwemer replaced Rudolf Speed. After 73 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. 80 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Pentti Ojala came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hanns Weber came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Tiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanns Weber couldn't finish the play. Tiger made a substitution. Michail Bakunin replaced Iwo Sawicki. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michail Bakunin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Concetto Raniolo. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pentti Ojala in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michail Bakunin in the 95th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michail Bakunin scored 4-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
