The referee showed Daniel Vitek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Daniel Vitek got a free kick in the 11th minute. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Goianésia E.C's Luiz Fabiano de Sousa. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gabi Gol kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Fred Penha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub, 2-0. Gabi Gol in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Penha in the 32nd minute of play. Norbert Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Rusil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Rezek came free, but Norbert Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Jilek to make the kick off. If Alan Rezek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Bohumir Kohout got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Tiago Cordeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vavrinec Holub skillfully saved the ball.
