In the 17th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Pablo Teran to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Vasconcelos in the 22nd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Carol Stinga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Germano Vasconcelos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 29 minute of play. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Stinga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Paulo Victor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anton Stinga took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Victor. Paulo Victor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Romania made a substitution. Alexandru Pangratiu replaced Alex Serban. Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Stinga in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasvan Cristescu got free with Paulo Victor in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Paulo Victor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romania's Sanda Cutov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Victor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
