Vitaliy Vischak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the game Natalio Mazuste made a throw-in which Amador Venceslao played forward. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Venceslao in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn De Hond in the 32nd minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Natalio Mazuste fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Natalio Mazuste a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Playa Malvín's Gonzalo Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Playa Malvín! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Soroca F.C.'s Natalio Mazuste got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zé Roberto Teixeira. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Constantijn De Hond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitaliy Vischak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 52nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. After 67 minutes, Constantijn De Hond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the Soroca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Constantijn De Hond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Rodolfo Atarrabi replaced Hernan Lano. Constantijn De Hond hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 70th minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Norberto Liberato drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Playa Malvín's goalkeeper. 76 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s attentive Zézinho Neiva managed to snatch the ball when Vladimiro Marquez made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Playa Malvín's Constantijn De Hond dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Zé Roberto Teixeira came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Vitaliy Vischak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niva Espellosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Playa Malvín's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
