Carlisle Fenwick started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Andres Stevens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hias Nüssli. Andres Stevens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carlisle Fenwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hias Nüssli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hias Nüssli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Stevens went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 26 minutes, Carlisle Fenwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boroondara Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlisle Fenwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Carlisle Fenwick reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hias Nüssli. The goal made the score 5-0. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Samuele Kunz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuele Kunz couldn't finish the play. Carlisle Fenwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Andres Stevens took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Hias Nüssli to make any attempt to save it. Andres Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Paco Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Switzerland's Hias Nüssli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuele Kunz to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlisle Fenwick scored 7-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hias Nüssli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Paco Everett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Paco Everett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Eric Thomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Switzerland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boroondara Milan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Eric Thomi got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Everett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlisle Fenwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hias Nüssli was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Carlisle Fenwick sped through Switzerland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. Boroondara Milan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Switzerland for a fine match.
