Deportivo Messina's Yuriy Babushkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 15th minute of play. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 17th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th play minute Teodosio Ascencio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Khalid Kennedy. 1-0. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper Yuriy Babushkin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuriy Babushkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micah Macdonald in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cooper Thompson to maneuver through the defense. Yuriy Babushkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Yuriy Babushkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Seth Young hit a great ball. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Babushkin having to interfere. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Jerardo was the one to do the kick off. When Hector Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Deportivo Messina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Jerardo couldn't finish the play. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jakue in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Ascencio in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Issac Dawson managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Issac Dawson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuriy Babushkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Deportivo Messina booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Ascencio came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Cox in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Babushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Domingo Jakue made a precise shot to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Messina fully deserved thier win.
