Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enzo Delle Donne took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Godo Møltoft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seggiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Godo Møltoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seggiano's goalkeeper Andrea Moschetta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seggiano's Godo Møltoft got his second yellow card of the match in the 12th minute. The referee ordered Godo Møltoft off the ground. In the 13th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godo Møltoft to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Godo Møltoft. After some careless play in the Seggiano defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Moschetta. The Seggiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Moschetta should have stopped the shot. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Moschetta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Andrea Moschetta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrea Moschetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrea Moschetta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Daniele Massaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Amerigo Falone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 36 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Andrea Moschetta right hand side. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andrea Moschetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Mazzocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goalkeeper Andrea Moschetta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Andrea Moschetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 68th minute. Daniele Massaro charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Massaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Andrea Moschetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Andrea Moschetta in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Andrea Moschetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Moschetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 80th minute of the match. Seggiano's Andrea Moschetta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Moschetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Lars Meesters struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Andrea Moschetta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
