Craig Chang made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Serbia's Zivko Cvetkovic. 15 minutes into the game, Borjan Golubovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serbia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rich Hill FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Momir Gisic. 17 minutes into the match, Rich Hill FC's Craig Chang broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Vallgren in the 22nd minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carson Craven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Serbia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ken Chen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Vallgren came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Vallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rich Hill FC's Carson Craven slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Vallgren made a kick off. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Brennan in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovan Borisov to maneuver through the defense. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingemar Vallgren's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zivko Cvetkovic charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zivko Cvetkovic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Serbia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rich Hill FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Craig Chang, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. 5-0. In the 69th minute, Cvijetin Nanusevski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match, Craig Chang sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. When Rich Hill FC's Ingemar Vallgren in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serbia's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Rich Hill FC booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasko Nestorovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Vallgren in the 83rd minute of play. Ian Brennan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rich Hill FC. In the 88th minute, Cvijetin Nanusevski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rich Hill FC fully deserved thier win.
