Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristobal Eneto made the kick off and thus started the match. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Marplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cristian Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Marplatense's Cristobal Eneto got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Belgium booed when Deportivo Marplatense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Cesario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Marplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cristian Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo Marplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Eneto in the 53rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Marplatense were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristobal Eneto took the corner. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Siebe Michiels got a free kick in the 55th minute. Deportivo Marplatense's Cristobal Eneto got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Marplatense's Cristobal Eneto. But to his dismay, Cristobal Eneto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Bermund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Bermund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, Deportivo Marplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cristian Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yves Dervaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Bermund having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Deportivo Marplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Mogel to maneuver through the defense.
