Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shi Li kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Li in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Shi Li put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henrich Slany. It was a well-played corner which Claudiu Manolescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Shi Li received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrich Slany came out and tried to block the shot, but Shi Li slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Dembkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Li was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Ştefan Sticlaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrich Slany. That made the score 5-0 after 28 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Valeriu Zdrobiş in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Slovakia's Vít Biskup. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Shi Li tried to sneak it across the goal line. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Shi Li took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Henrich Slany to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vít Biskup hit a great ball. Shi Li took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Ştefan Sticlaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metod Mlynar made a kick off. In the 54th minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Sticlaru in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. If Shi Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 59th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Li was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Manolescu came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Pandrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrich Slany didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shi Li went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes in the game Claudiu Manolescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Iordache Negrițoiu. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Li in the 75th minute of play. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Soare having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Ştefan Sticlaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. In the 87th minute, Ştefan Sticlaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Henrich Slany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Li's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Shi Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Galati Harbour Cats walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
