Spectators: 8447 (Terracing: 6337, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) Romano Quevedo's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romano Quevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Romano Quevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Denílson do Nascimento put in a rough tackle. After 13 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Denílson do Nascimento. When Salbatore Eslava came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Navalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salbatore Eslava couldn't finish the play. Võ Gozali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnau Venegas in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Sales came free, but Teodoro Dundan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Flaco López came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flaco López couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, Navalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salbatore Eslava to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Maurício Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flaco López in the 39th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Teodoro Dundan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Flaco López shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Dundan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Ignacio Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Edgard de Godoi got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Flaco López made the kick off in the second half. Navalito's Teodoro Dundan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Navalito from getting a goal against them. Pietro Sales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Dundan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pietro Sales's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Teodoro Dundan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Navalito's Teodoro Dundan got control of the ball when Pietro Sales tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinei Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Pedro Manuel Rivadeneira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Võ Gozali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Dundan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flaco López in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in JFSP's zone, Francisco Ignacio Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Võ Gozali came out of the goal and Francisco Ignacio Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pietro Sales got free with Teodoro Dundan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the JFSP defense, Madeo Aboitiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Võ Gozali. The JFSP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Võ Gozali should have stopped the shot. Teodoro Dundan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

JFSP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
