The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chiquito Branca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 6th minute of play forced Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Chiquito Branca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Boom Shaka Laka's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Chiquito Branca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Peto came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Durand could save by the left post. In the 13thth minute of the game Lars-Erik Rolandsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Branca having to interfere. The supporters of France booed when Boom Shaka Laka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Bergren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With splendid footwork Delmiro Peto arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. Bolli Elin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andy Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Chiquito Branca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barbier, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Lars-Erik Rolandsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, France's David Barbier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chiquito Branca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in France reached it. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Lars-Erik Rolandsson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. In the 38th minute Remy Dupuy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Branca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquito Branca. Boom Shaka Laka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Baume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bernt Bergren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Camille Baume struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Chiquito Branca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Peletier to make the kick off. The supporters of France booed when Boom Shaka Laka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Boom Shaka Laka fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Boom Shaka Laka's Lars-Erik Rolandsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute, Robert Chapuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Holger Törnblom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand skillfully saved the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olov Kvalfält hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Boom Shaka Laka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Pihlwall to maneuver through the defense. France's David Barbier shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Chiquito Branca but with some difficulty. 79 minutes into the match, France's Frank Peletier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiquito Branca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Peletier came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chiquito Branca could save by the left post. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Peto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boom Shaka Laka's Chiquito Branca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Boom Shaka Laka from getting a goal against them. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Peto in the 93rd minute of play.
