Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Viriato Moura got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. Dragonf⮊rcE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Barry Houghton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Barry Houghton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 9th match minute, Dragonf⮊rcE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Brites to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Sesimbra having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Graciano Coutinho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra. Zacarias Sesimbra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's Viriato Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Faustino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Sesimbra having to interfere. If Barry Houghton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barry Houghton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragonf⮊rcE's attentive Porfírio Antunes managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Barry Houghton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. If Pedro Pauleta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herman Dresselbjerg during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Dragonf⮊rcE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Dresselbjerg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dragonf⮊rcE's Virgílio Coelho got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Houghton to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Portugal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dragonf⮊rcE:s goal. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Dragonf⮊rcE. Barry Houghton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilson Amorim. 4-3. Barry Houghton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Houghton, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Barry Houghton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Zacarias Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Houghton came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Dresselbjerg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragonf⮊rcE's Ludo Tobbackers was substituted for Herman Dresselbjerg. Veríssimo Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Felipinho Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Zacarias Sesimbra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dragonf⮊rcE's Svenne Schluntz was substituted for Veríssimo Amaro. Zacarias Sesimbra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipinho Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-5 in the 89 minute of play. After 91 played minutes Dragonf⮊rcE got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Oliveira. Daniel Pimentel made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bruno Bastos however managed to control. Mário Jardel might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Jardel ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Jardel in the 98th minute of play.
