Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romarinho Silva took the kick off in the first half of the match. Romarinho Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Haroldo Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11th play minutes Kaká Ferreira shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Keld Paulsen and just under the crossbar into goal. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by José Augusto Figueiredo in the 14 minute of the game. Simon Bendtsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cido Valle. Atlético de Crisal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 16 played minutes Atlético de Crisal got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Galvão. After 18 minutes of play, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cido Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Breno Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Atlético de Crisal booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Atlético de Crisal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Galvão to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Atlético de Crisal's Haroldo Capixaba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The supporters of Denmark booed when Atlético de Crisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romarinho Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen.

After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's José Augusto Figueiredo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Cido Valle made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Romarinho Silva came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Atlético de Crisal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romarinho Silva couldn't finish the play. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Valle having to interfere. A collision led to Atlético de Crisal getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Haroldo Capixaba hit a great ball. With a little luck, Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Atlético de Crisal booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cido Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romarinho Silva in the 82nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Goiano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bendtsen. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 95th minute of play forced Atlético de Crisal's goalkeeper Cido Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Atlético de Crisal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cido Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
