If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. 忠 杨浩南 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Eikelkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 忠 杨浩南. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Eikelkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. 忠 杨浩南 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by 【AC】大铁棍子村猛干生产队『铁血连』™NB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 忠 杨浩南 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 尤皓笑 kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 【AC】大铁棍子村猛干生产队『铁血连』™NB's 潘建风 got a free kick in the 59th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Vissenaekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 忠 杨浩南 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 70th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
