Willy Stieler made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Kertzfeld's Jacob Josef Saumon. Wesley Donato's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 9th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wesley Donato fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wesley Donato sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wesley Donato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Wesley Donato did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 30 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Helmut Lossimäe. Fc Kertzfeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Gaston Toupin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 44th minute Joël Rétière shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Wesley Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Kertzfeld's Wesley Donato. But to his dismay, Wesley Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 83rd minute of the match Fc Kertzfeld got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alix Poulain ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iurie Mardare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Germany's Sven Krakouer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven Krakouer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Germany protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven Krakouer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tommy Kahn had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Titouan Levet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Pastor Cambranes got a free kick in the 97th minute. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Helmut Lossimäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Kertzfeld.
