After 5 played minutes Lex Academy got a freekick which was hit by Paco Arzola. Bernardo Novaes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Bernardo Novaes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardo Novaes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardo Novaes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maxime Durand. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Novaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Jursa was slow to take the kick. During this time Lex Academy's players had a chance to rest. When Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. After 29 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roman Jursa who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Bernardo Novaes at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of France. 3-0. When France's Camille Baume in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lex Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Bernardo Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Novaes scored 4-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 38 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Bernardo Novaes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 5-0. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 44th minute. Jean Bombelles made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Frank Peletier. After having played for 47 minutes, Bernardo Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lex Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

57 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lex Academy's Mojmír Houška was substituted for Leoš Dočkal. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Bernardo Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Bernardo Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Novaes struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lex Academy. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Novaes made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camille Baume in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Houdek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8-0 became the score in the 74th minute when Bernardo Novaes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lex Academy's Otmar Schovánek was substituted for Radomir Wyrostek. After a rather tough play, France's Henry Robiquet got a free kick in the 78th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 79th minute of play. Bernardo Novaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 86th minute of play. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Novaes's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lex Academy getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Leo Štengl hit a great ball. Lex Academy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
