In the 25th minute Václav Lux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Micah Macdonald came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Macdonald couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, England's Eddie Willis got a free kick in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Kyle Cox put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Victorio Rumaldo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The INDEPENDIENTE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching England's performance. The match ended with a win for England.
