The tension between the FC Excellent Winners and the Croatia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kurt Henriksson sent off a good shot on target. Albin Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kurt Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Damir Pongrac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, FC Excellent Winners's Johannes Sävström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilija Skugor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Excellent Winners reached it. Toni Mauzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elliot Bergren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Toni Mauzer's late challenge caught a FC Excellent Winners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albin Lundström in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Ahlberg in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Albin Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Excellent Winners's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Ahlberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Excellent Winners booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Terzic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Lundström in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, FC Excellent Winners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Rosin to maneuver through the defense.
