In the 15th minute of the match France got a corner. Jenipapo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ricardinho Pena's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardinho Pena helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jenipapo SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! 21 minutes into the match, Aníbal Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 25th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Alagoanos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Maxime Durand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jenipapo SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardinho Pena in the 39th minute. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Maxence Durand hit a great ball. Aníbal Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. In the 45th minute, Zé Carlos Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Aníbal Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Alagoano in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remy Dupuy's late challenge caught a Jenipapo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Dupuy helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Remy Dupuy. In the 68th minute, Aníbal Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 85th minute of the match. Camille Baume kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 89th minute of play. Kajetan Pilarski made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zé Carlos Monteiro however managed to control. Maxence Durand kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. France's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jenipapo SC had won, even though France had held more of the ball.
