Wieslaw Dudkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Pogoń Szczecin's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Li Xu Cheng to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Sampler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Batistuta in the 16th minute of play forced MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Wiktor Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Sampler made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ignacy Rzegotka sent off a good shot on target. Franco Sampler was a little too slow when Ignacy Rzegotka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 28th minute, Bartosz Wielowiejski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wiktor Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Batistuta in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Clodoveo Ponce tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Sampler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th minute of the match Villa La Perla got a corner. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiktor Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piara Batistuta in the 40th minute of the match. Wiktor Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piara Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ponce in the 45th minute of play forced Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Franco Sampler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Ponce in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Sampler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rdth minute of the game Clodoveo Ponce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa La Perla's Franco Sampler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 minutes Villa La Perla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wieslaw Dudkowski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Wieslaw Dudkowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa La Perla's Franco Sampler did a great save. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Clodoveo Ponce in MKS Pogoń Szczecin was the one to initiate the kick off. The throw-in from Francisco Daigle in the 101st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villa La Perla's Esteve Cordarrel. Placido Paul struck a weak shot in the 103rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Francisco Daigle in the 106th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villa La Perla's Esteve Cordarrel. Placido Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 107th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wiktor Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Paul in the 107th minute of play. Placido Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiktor Dudkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 108th minute of play. Clodoveo Ponce's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franco Sampler firmly grabbed it by the left post.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Placido Paul to make the kick off. Francisco Daigle made in the 123rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roch Chowaniec however managed to control. In the 126th match minute, Villa La Perla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Ted to maneuver through the defense. Wieslaw Dudkowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 128th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franco Sampler. Villa La Perla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

In the 133rd minute, the referee gave Villa La Perla a penalty. Placido Paul looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Wiktor Dudkowski. When the match had been going on for 137 minutes, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wieslaw Dudkowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Franco Sampler. The goalkeeper, Wiktor Dudkowski, was totally fooled by Villa La Perla's Edgard Maiorga, who 138 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Villa La Perla:s Franco Sampler showed great skill when he stopped Bartosz Wielowiejski:s penalty. MKS Pogoń Szczecin:s Franco Sampler showed great skill when he stopped Esteve Cordarrel:s penalty. Villa La Perla were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MKS Pogoń Szczecin's much stronger midfield.
