Ronaldo Cristi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Lage having to make a save. Pál Polyák's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greid Tinsmith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Pál Polyák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Cristi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Lage was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute of the match Doffes Damer got a corner. SITIO CITY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pier Kopacz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 53 minutes of play, SITIO CITY's Pál Polyák made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greid Tinsmith was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pál Polyák in the 57th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Cristi in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SITIO CITY's Kajetan Paulista got a free kick in the 60th minute. Greid Tinsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Polyák, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Doffes Damer's Thiago Alcântara was substituted for Pier Kopacz. SITIO CITY's Olavo Koehler was substituted for Chiquinho Pereira. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Braa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SITIO CITY's zone, Inge Braa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Lage came out of the goal and Inge Braa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Braa in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Inge Braa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage. Cristiano Lage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Pál Polyák in SITIO CITY was the one to initiate the kick off. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SITIO CITY's Diogo Vilaverde got a free kick in the 101st minute. SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Barrera in the 103rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Koehler got free with Greid Tinsmith in the 105th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SITIO CITY were awarded a corner in the 106th minute after Doffes Damer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Campelo took the corner. The corner ended in Carlos Campelo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith did a great save. The throw-in from Diogo Vilaverde in the 111th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Doffes Damer's Thiago Alcântara. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Inge Braa did a quick kick off. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Braa in the 118th minute of the match. Inge Braa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 119th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Lage having to make a save. 119 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Braa came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensive play by both the teams in the second half of extra-time meant the match finished 2-2. The game would now be decided on penalties.

Baran Erozan's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Greid Tinsmith on his right side and into the goal. 136 minutes into the game it was 4-2. The goalkeeper, Cristiano Lage, was totally fooled by Doffes Damer's Thiago Alcântara, who 137 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had been going on for 140 minutes, Doffes Damer's Göran Vedholm got an opportunity to shoot a penalty.
