Spectators: 9000 (Terracing: 6750, Seating: 2070, VIP seats: 180) FC Klavertje Vier's Zinon Potamias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Björkman in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Alcaraz came free, but Zabulón Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Mattias Svan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 20th minute of play. Philipp Van Kestbeek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Söder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Svan during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mattias Svan hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Zinon Potamias came free, but Rune Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Firma Barnängen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Björkman to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Philipp Van Kestbeek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Iwan Marchefka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zinon Potamias took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Söder. Rune Söder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rune Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Potamias in the 42nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Firma Barnängen's Joachim Rolandsson tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Edgar Björkman made the kick off in the second half. Oscar Van Aerschot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rune Söder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Svan in the 58th minute of play. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 61st minute of play. Mattias Svan took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zabulón Carabajal. Zabulón Carabajal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 66th minute Philipp Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Joery Hylen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rune Söder, 2-2. FC Klavertje Vier's Claude Montens was substituted for Iwan Marchefka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Ekström in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zabulón Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Björkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Klavertje Vier's Joery Hylen got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zabulón Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Rune Söder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joery Hylen in the 95th minute. After 95 minutes, Bertil Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firma Barnängen and the FC Klavertje Vier players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Firma Barnängen got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Hansson. Rune Söder acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zinon Potamias.

The FC Klavertje Vier supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Klavertje Vier would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
