An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Redisz in the 3rd minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper Mosinho Mos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Henk Veerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Älta BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Ooijer kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Elodio Ghinescu hit a great ball. Manuel Tufescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Lucius in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Veerman in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Tufescu saved FC MCM from getting behind. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älta BK's goalkeeper Mosinho Mos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Falkrans in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Tufescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Älta BK's Mosinho Mos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Gaciu in the 24th minute of play. Manuel Tufescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Lucius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mosinho Mos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MCM's Elodio Ghinescu. But to his dismay, Elodio Ghinescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, FC MCM's Elodio Ghinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mosinho Mos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 34th minute of play. When Mircea Bodiu fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MCM's protests and gave Mircea Bodiu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mircea Bodiu hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Lukas Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosinho Mos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Florin Gaciu got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Henk Veerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älta BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Veerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Tufescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Älta BK were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after FC MCM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theo Lucius took the corner. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Lukas Falkrans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Tufescu. The goal made the score 2-2. Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was substituted for Henk Veerman. FC MCM made a substitution. Nicodim Pârâianu replaced Florin Gaciu. Älta BK's Javier Turi was substituted for Lukas Falkrans. 67 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. In the 72nd minute, Gavril Mangra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 73rd minute of play. Javier Turi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Tufescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Älta BK's Mosinho Mos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Redisz in the 77th minute of play. Mosinho Mos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Pârâianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mosinho Mos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Pârâianu in the 82nd minute of play. After 85 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Amitroaiei. After 91 minutes of play, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Tufescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Gavril Mangra in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Älta BK's Christer Vallgren.
The FC MCM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Älta BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
