Hertha 1969's Moritz Trehkopf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Carlsson in the 56th minute of play. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Villiam Marklund was substituted for Viktor Isaksson. After recieving a nice pass, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Björn Andberg tried to score from far away in the 100th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hertha 1969's defense didn't have a chance, in the 103rd minute, when Jan-Erik Carlsson scored to the left of an out of position Moritz Trehkopf, making the score, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hertha 1969 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
