Spectators: 8139 (Terracing: 6100, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 164) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fortunato Canal kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Romelio. After 4 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Dolfo Aledo. Zoilo Rojica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Cordarryl in the 12th minute. Linterna verde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Desiderio Cordarryl scored to the left of an out of position Zoilo Rojica, making the score, 1-0. Zoilo Rojica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Romelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Fabian Goiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacro Balompié's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linterna verde the free kick. After 25 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Goiz. In the 26thth minute of the game Demetrio Cerillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacro Balompié's Florencio Sesuldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Desiderio Cordarryl notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Linterna verde's Zoilo Rojica. Zoilo Rojica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the match, Larpe Canive had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Sesuldo. Sacro Balompié's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Larpe Canive was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Cordarryl made a kick off. The supporters of Sacro Balompié booed when Linterna verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltran Villafana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zoilo Rojica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Romelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sacro Balompié's Florencio Sesuldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sacro Balompié from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Desiderio Cordarryl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zoilo Rojica was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 62nd minute, Leonardo Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Severiano Oliveiro replaced Domingos Flores. Sacro Balompié's Fernan Fernandez was substituted for Fabian Goiz. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Leonardo Mel got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A hard shot by Dolfo Aledo from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Florencio Sesuldo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Danilo Cordarrell scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zoilo Rojica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Linterna verde's Dolfo Aledo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 83rd minute, Danilo Cordarrell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sacro Balompié fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. When Generosb Solano fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linterna verde's protests and gave Generosb Solano a yellow card for diving instead. Florencio Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Canal in the 89th minute. In the 94th match minute, Sacro Balompié was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Arlo to maneuver through the defense.

When the referee ended the match the Sacro Balompié players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
