In the 8thth minute of the game Gigi Bobei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hornos's Everardo Francho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everardo Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Macaneață, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Onișoru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Opilano in the 25th minute of the match. When Los Hornos's Paulo Opilano, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Los Hornos. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Codruț Macaneață hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Opilano in the 31st minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigi Bobei to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Feliciano Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 53 minutes, Gigi Bobei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Bobei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codruț Macaneață sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Culcer charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Culcer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valer Onișoru was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gualterio Nazario. When Leontin Titulescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 80th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Titulescu to maneuver through the defense. Valer Onișoru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustaquio Omero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. With a little luck, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru got control of the ball when Cipriano Raulo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
