The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Baltasar Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Sacro Balompié's Diego Jaunzuria, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sacro Balompié. In the 29th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Sancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Matias Maties was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacro Balompié's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Bakos Endre's late challenge caught a Sacro Balompié's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
