Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sulev Vaht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Mulgimaa Kosilased's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Sulev Vaht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mulgimaa Kosilased's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Mihail Ciuvicăs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulev Vaht having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sulev Vaht was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Mulgimaa Kosilased's Rolf Roppel got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jardel Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Sulev Vaht didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mulgimaa Kosilased's Sulev Vaht did a great save. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Mulgimaa Kosilased's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sulev Vaht came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jardel Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulgimaa Kosilased's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sulev Vaht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Peter Parker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hungary booed when Mulgimaa Kosilased was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Soll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sulev Vaht. Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Sulev Vaht in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes Mulgimaa Kosilased got a freekick which was hit by Elar Hallast. Sulev Vaht made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Tróia in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jardel Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulgimaa Kosilased's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernst Murumaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernst Murumaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sulev Vaht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sulev Vaht made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Tróia in the 76th minute of the match. At last the ball reached Mihail Ciuvică at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Hungary. 1-4. After having played for 82 minutes, Jardel Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulgimaa Kosilased's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalkeeper Sulev Vaht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Jardel Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sulev Vaht made a huge save. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sulev Vaht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hungary walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
