Sansargiller FK's CJ Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 40th minute, Mateusz Miecznikowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

After 51 minutes Sansargiller FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Miecznikowski in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sansargiller FK's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. CJ Buffon came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with CJ Buffon in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Felipinho Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of CJ Buffon. The goal made the score 3-2. Sansargiller FK's Agah Yeğrek was substituted for Ricardo Quaresma. Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ahmet Nafiz Tamkoç was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. A sloppy throw-in by Fabricio Andrade in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sansargiller FK's Nuh Ruzi. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Portugal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
