Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvador Frantzes started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Tales Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sosoco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 6th minute when Salvador Frantzes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 10 played minutes, Los Golosos's Domingos Oihan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diamantino Ferraz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Golosos reached it. Diamantino Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Frantzes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Victor Romildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Diamantino Ferraz made a huge save. Diamantino Ferraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Romildo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Los Golosos's zone, Lúcio Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Quexal came out of the goal and Lúcio Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sosoco FC's Diamantino Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sosoco FC from getting a goal against them. Salvador Frantzes scored 3-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonçalo Queiroz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Quexal. Raimundo Quexal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 32 minutes into the match, Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Frantzes. The crowd rose to their feet as Salvador Frantzes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diamantino Ferraz. That made the score 4-2 in the 35 minute of play. Raimundo Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Mattos made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Salvador Frantzes made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Ferraz. Sosoco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 55 minutes into the match, Salvador Frantzes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Ferraz. Sosoco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Frantzes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Sosoco FC's Wágner Travassos was substituted for Dorian Linares. Diamantino Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Frantzes in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Victor Romildo notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Sosoco FC's Diamantino Ferraz. Diamantino Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Frantzes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Quexal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lúcio Mattos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-3 in the 87 minute of play. Sosoco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
