Didi Senna in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vilis Bura, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artis Udots charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artis Udots the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SK Annenieki getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Artis Udots hit a great ball. Diamantino Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toms Blīdumnieks in the 14th minute of the match. Amadeu Senna hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Vilis Bura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didi Senna in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Sosoco FC got a corner. SK Annenieki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delfim Guedes ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Didi Senna fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sosoco FC's protests and gave Didi Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Sosoco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Senna to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, SK Annenieki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inārs Rimeiks to maneuver through the defense. When Delfim Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sosoco FC's protests and gave Delfim Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Artis Udots managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Annenieki's supporters rose to their feet, but Artis Udots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SK Annenieki getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sigmunds Gudrītis hit a great ball. If Artis Udots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sosoco FC's Diamantino Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artis Udots in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Toms Blīdumnieks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Annenieki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toms Blīdumnieks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artis Udots to strike the kick off in the second half. Inārs Rimeiks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artis Udots struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Diamantino Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Annenieki. Artis Udots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sosoco FC's zone, Toms Blīdumnieks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Ferraz came out of the goal and Toms Blīdumnieks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilis Bura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarmis Palkavnieks kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Didi Senna in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilis Bura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Didi Senna scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilis Bura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sosoco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SK Annenieki had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
