Dre Roockeloos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jerry Moerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Freddy Olemans put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Machado. Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus Dhondt in the 25th minute of play. Billie Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Draconia's Klaus Dhondt got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, FC Draconia's Klaus Dhondt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Olemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Léo Donatello hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Olemans came free, but Patrick Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Dhondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Jerry Moerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Draconia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The audience was convinced that Jerry Moerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Machado was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Klaus Dhondt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Machado having to interfere. Patrick Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Moerman in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Valle made a kick off. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leopold Weijnants hit a great ball. Klaus Dhondt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 57th playminute. With a little luck, Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado got control of the ball when Klaus Dhondt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Klaus Dhondt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaus Dhondt in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Freddy Olemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado got control of the ball when Jerry Moerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Freddy Olemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Freddy Olemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Draconia's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Olemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerry Moerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Patrick Machado made a huge save. Patrick Machado came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Draconia's Klaus Dhondt. But to his dismay, Klaus Dhondt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 88th minute, FC Draconia's Tibo De Witte seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tibo De Witte the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Draconia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tibo De Witte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Tibo De Witte got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Dragões de Campo Grande's Léo Donatello got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Draconia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dragões de Campo Grande.
