Jakob Pihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrício Simões. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakob Pihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabrício Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Dahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Jakob Pihlberg put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrício Simões. Bolli Stopar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renaud Verdonckt, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Pihlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK booed when Inter de Munique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
