But to his dismay, Iggi Kot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 46th minute, FC Gdansk36's Matías de Lara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matías de Lara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Gdansk36 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matías de Lara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Gdansk36 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The score was 1-3 after a penalty in the 48th minute, where FC Vaslui:s Panait Agachi tricked FC Gdansk36:s Adam Matysek with a difficult ball by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witomir Kochanowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Constantin Mudura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Witomir Kochanowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 75 minute of play. In the 77th minute Pavel Stelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Jan Olisadebe. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Lerych, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, FC Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Nandriș to maneuver through the defense. Marek Kluczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Mudura having to make a save.
