The corner led Vaqueteros FC's Venancio Victoro to fire away a dangerous shot which Zenon Pleban despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tosun Paşa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Pleban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leszek Podwojski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Javier Tono when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Nereo Florian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Tosun Paşa came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Tosun Paşa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban. Zenon Pleban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Vaqueteros FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tosun Paşa was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Tosun Paşa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zenon Pleban was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Pleban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zenon Pleban. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosun Paşa in the 58th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Tono showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nereo Florian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zenon Pleban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaqueteros FC's Angelo Haitz was substituted for Nereo Florian. Qiu Yang hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Fikret Uluğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Podwojski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Uluğ came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Fernández. In the 87th minute Enzo Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Pleban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fikret Uluğ got free with Zenon Pleban in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leszek Podwojski might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leszek Podwojski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fikret Uluğ got free with Zenon Pleban in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vaqueteros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Venancio Victoro in the 96th minute. After taking down the ball on Vaqueteros FC's corner Venancio Victoro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zenon Pleban quite easily take care of the ball. The Legia Warszawa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vaqueteros FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vaqueteros FC.
