Vaesed Sugulased's Gazanfer Özcan Resul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaud Verdonckt in the 23rd minute of play. Inter de Munique were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Vaesed Sugulased's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusébio Barros took the corner. 36 minutes into the match, Inter de Munique's goalkeeper Fabrício Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Vilep. After a rather tough play, Vaesed Sugulased's Ričards Lakstenis got a free kick in the 39th minute. Vaesed Sugulased's Gazanfer Özcan Resul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Vaesed Sugulased from getting a goal against them. Vaesed Sugulased made a substitution. Martti Jahe replaced Roland Vilep. A collision led to Vaesed Sugulased getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ats Emane hit a great ball. Inter de Munique's Andoni Donadoni was substituted for Nilmar Eger. After a rather tough play, Inter de Munique's Vítor Mota got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Inter de Munique's Andoni Donadoni managed to work through Vaesed Sugulased's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Andoni Donadoni dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gazanfer Özcan Resul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renaud Verdonckt in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Vaesed Sugulased's Gazanfer Özcan Resul got control of the ball when Eusébio Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line.
