Vaesed Sugulased's Gazanfer Özcan Resul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Bejenaru in the 23rd minute of play. Marcelo Afraga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gazanfer Özcan Resul came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Afraga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Ekedalen SK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rinus Israel hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Vaesed Sugulased's Roland Vilep sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Dionísio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Bejenaru in the 72nd minute of play forced Vaesed Sugulased's goalkeeper Gazanfer Özcan Resul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekedalen SK's Anders Christiansen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vaesed Sugulased. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
