Bolli Stopar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, MILTON f.c.'s Fabian Kiewra got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, MILTON f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Pihlberg came free, but Cliff Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Sture Dahlkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cliff Thomas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 27 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Michael came free, but Bolli Stopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonardo Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MILTON f.c.'s protests and gave Leonardo Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MILTON f.c.'s Leonardo Ponc got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Gösta Hellsing shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cliff Thomas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK reached it. In the 33rd minute, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Nils-Erik Zander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nils-Erik Zander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nils-Erik Zander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MILTON f.c.:s goal. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK:s Bolli Stopar showed great skill when he stopped Alvaro Michael:s penalty. After 34 minutes of play, MILTON f.c.'s Alvaro Michael made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolli Stopar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cliff Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Dahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilhelm Lundqvist scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cliff Thomas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MILTON f.c.'s Cliff Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Dahlkvist in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by MILTON f.c.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gösta Hellsing was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gösta Hellsing almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MILTON f.c.'s Cliff Thomas did a great save. After the first half MILTON f.c. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Nordal made a kick off. Vilhelm Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Thomas having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Sture Dahlkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gösta Hellsing in the 54th minute. Cliff Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cliff Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Dahlkvist in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes MILTON f.c.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gösta Hellsing who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Vilhelm Lundqvist managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luciano Tartalo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sture Dahlkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cliff Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the MILTON f.c. defense, Sture Dahlkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cliff Thomas. The MILTON f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cliff Thomas should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK were awarded a corner. Gösta Hellsing went to the cornerflag to take it. David Nordal succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. David Nordal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cliff Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Leonardo Ponc hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Gösta Hellsing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, David Nordal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cliff Thomas. MILTON f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Nordal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK had played much better football throughout.
