Adrastos Kourempes was slow to take the kick. During this time ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's players had a chance to rest. Claude Joyner hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Besim Vecdet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Wilhelm. The goal made the score 1-0. After 19 minutes of play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Besim Vecdet made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Wilhelm was left in no man's land by his defense there! ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's supporters rose to their feet, but Besim Vecdet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Wilhelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fotis Theofilopoulos got free with Dario Wilhelm in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Besim Vecdet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Besim Vecdet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Besim Vecdet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Besim Vecdet to make the kick off. With 51 minutes on the clock, Piotr Brzakala commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 56thth minute of the game Besim Vecdet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ made a substitution. Ibn Serkan replaced Tassos Poulakis. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Stasio Plachetka was substituted for Oliver Bogren.
