Tymoteusz Huratiak started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Hertha 1969 defense, Tymoteusz Huratiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Jarstein. The Hertha 1969 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Jarstein should have stopped the shot. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's Dimitar Ivankov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Huratiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rune Jarstein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimitar Ivankov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedikt Bensch in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 26th minute of play forced TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jörg Hannemann hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tymoteusz Huratiak got free with Rune Jarstein in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 30th minute of the match Marek Jazwiec completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marek Jazwiec a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marek Jazwiec hit a great ball. Lothar Heber made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zé Paulo da Silva immediately put the ball in play. Dimitar Ivankov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Poelmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Zé Paulo da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hertha 1969's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitar Ivankov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilhelm Nienhaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Nienhaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Sierocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wawrzyniec Sierocki charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA reached it. Dimitar Ivankov came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 76th minute, Moritz Hasenjäger made a precise shot to the right of Dimitar Ivankov. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Dimitar Ivankov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitar Ivankov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute Moritz Hasenjäger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Ivankov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo da Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dimitar Ivankov, 2-5. Dimitar Ivankov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitar Ivankov saved TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Ivankov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Hasenjäger. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Hertha 1969's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
